The Test Architect will play a central role in designing and implementing the testing strategy for our platform, APIs and products. The role will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to test AI-powered applications that are secure, reliable, and impactful. A successful candidate for this position must possess both a deep and wide background in cloud, service, and API architectures, and be able to demonstrate experience with designing and implementing test frameworks for production systems.
ABOUT YOU:
- Proven Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering in test, with a strong focus on quality assurance framework development and implementation.
- AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS services, architecture, and best practices for cloud-native applications.
- Database Skills: Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Test Framework Familiarity: Demonstrated experience implementing test frameworks.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Experience working cross-team to easily understand non-technical requirements and test them efficiently.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Backend and Frontend Quality Assurance: Help build and maintain test automation frameworks for backend and front end testing
- Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps: Deploy and manage scalable applications and data in AWS, leveraging services like ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, and others.
- Configuration Management: Managing customer configuration and verifying expected behavior in product and platform services.
- Database Management: Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to support diverse data needs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate and be able to communicate with technical and non-technical teams to deliver quality software, including demonstrations to stakeholders and assistance in client onboarding.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to manual and automated quality assurance engineers to follow best practices in the software development lifecycle and quality assurance.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle complex engineering challenges, including performance and scale optimization, system design, troubleshooting, and AI model integration.
- Research: Stay up to date on new tools & techniques for automated testing, including regression and performance tests.

Compensation:
Base Pay + Equity + Benefits
A reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this role is $110,000- $140,000. Any offered base pay is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
Following our Equal Pay Commitment, we have salary banding and established vesting schedules for equity.
