Summary
SiteOne Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting team. The Controller role includes oversight of accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, financial analysis, banking, insurance and risk management, stock plan administration, tax and treasury. The position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounting and financial reporting including month-end close, accounts payable and expense reporting
- Establishment and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Prepare financial reports, analyses and other materials for our leadership team and board of directors
- Manage annual financial audit and relationship with auditors
- Manage the company's cash and ensure compliance with the company's investment policy
- Implement scalable systems to improve workflows
- Coordinate corporate tax reporting and tax return preparation with outside accountants
- Research relevant technical issues and recommendation of accounting treatment
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or another relevant discipline is required
- CPA credential and/or public accounting experience preferred
- 10+ years of progressive growth in financial roles in biotechnology/pharmaceutical companies, including at least 5 years in financial leadership roles
- Experience with public company reporting including 1OKs and 10Qs
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems required; experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite is a plus
