SquarePeg is an early-stage venture-backed tech startup reimagining the recruiting tech stack. We harness AI to automate talent acquisition tasks, and allow companies to be more strategic in sourcing and matching talent to their jobs.
We are looking to hire our 1st marketer to help build and oversee SquarePeg's marketing efforts. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact our scaling team by leading growth, content, and product marketing initiatives, making it an exciting prospect for anyone looking to advance their career in marketing at a tech startup.
You would get a tremendous amount of autonomy, responsibility, and room to design and build a marketing function from the ground up. You'd work closely with our CEO, Director of Sales, Product Manager, and Operations Manager. You'd have room to build the ideal marketing tech stack and initiatives. This role is great for someone ambitious and confident is his/her abilities to produce and deliver great marketing content & experiences.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative growth marketing strategies to attract and retain users.
- Collaborate with our Product Manager to ensure seamless integration of marketing and product development. Identify product experiences we can expose outside of our app as lead gen tools, and ways we can generate more demand from within our product (like referrals).
- Create compelling content that enhances brand visibility and engages the target audience (Thought leadership, white papers, blogs, LinkedIn posts, Webinars, 1-pagers)
- Analyze data to identify trends, measure performance, and refine marketing strategies accordingly.
- Manage social media platforms and digital campaigns to maximize online presence.
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in growth marketing and technology to keep SquarePeg at the forefront of innovation.
- 5+ yrs experience in Marketing
- Proven experience as a Growth Marketer, Product Marketer, or Content Marketer within a venture-backed tech startup, preferably B2B SaaS
- Strong understanding of growth marketing, content marketing, and product marketing strategies.
- Experience with data analysis and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to marketing.
