The Opportunity

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a pivotal role in leading our technical endeavours, overseeing a variety of crypto and blockchain projects. You will be responsible for driving innovation and ensuring the successful execution of our initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of expertise in crypto, web3 and blockchain, coupled with strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy & Leadership:

• Develop and implement the company's technology strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Drive the technical direction, including architecture, design, and implementation.
• Lead multiple development teams based in Lithuania and India, promoting collaboration and innovation. Delegate tasks, set clear objectives, and monitor progress to ensure timely project delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, such as EIP standards and emerging technologies, to keep solutions cutting-edge.
• Proven experience in managing both teams and client relationships.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in blockchain technologies and modern web and mobile development frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Coordinate with external agency vendors and technical heads to manage project activities and resources.
  
  

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Collaborate with the CEO and senior management to define the technical roadmap and prioritise initiatives based on business objectives.
• Drive project execution from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of technical initiatives.
  
  

Blockchain & Crypto Wallets Expertise:

• Knowledge of transaction lifecycles on blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of crypto wallet (custodial/non-custodial) products based on mnemonic phrases and private keys.
• Experience integrating smart contracts within wallet applications and wallet connect for seamless DApp integrations.
• Excellent understanding of various token standards like ERC20, ERC721, ERC1155, BEP20, etc.
• Understanding of DeFi (Decentralised Finance) platforms like Uniswap, Compound, Aave, etc.
• Good knowledge of liquidity pools, staking, lending, and borrowing standards within the blockchain ecosystem.
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Experience in blockchain platforms like Ethereum and Solana
• Proficiency in Flutter, Node.js with TypeScript, and NextJS/ReactJS
• 3+ years of experience with SEO optimisation for websites
• Hands-on experience with MonoRepo and tag-based deployment
• Familiarity with logging tools such as Bugsnag and Glitchtip.
• Proficient in documenting technical architecture and maintaining database design.
• Experience managing API collections and documentation using Postman.
  
  

Integration Experience:

• Experience integrating external providers for crypto wallets (e.g., Fireblocks) and payment gateways using webhooks, APIs, and SDKs.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and customer support systems (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom).
• Experience in integrating marketing tools (e.g., Blaze) into websites.
• Experience in managing CMS integrations (e.g., Contentful, WordPress).
• Experience handling large-volume ticker data from crypto exchanges.
