Join our team as a Government Enterprise Sales Development Representative! Are you ready to make an impact in the rapidly growing SaaS industry? Submittable is looking for a dynamic, motivated, and goal-oriented Government Enterprise Sales Development Representative to join our expanding team. In this role, you'll leverage your sales, research, and relationship-building skills to uncover new opportunities and introduce prospective clients to Submittable's top-rated Grants Management and Social Impact Platform.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify key decision-makers within top state departments and agencies to initiate meaningful conversations about Submittable.
- Lead Nurturing: Transform cold leads into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) through strategic outreach and consistent engagement.
- Meeting Scheduling: Partner with Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) to schedule and facilitate meetings with qualified prospects.
- Tech Stack Utilization: Maximize outreach efforts using tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Gong.
- Problem Identification & Solutioning: Uncover prospects’ challenges and demonstrate how Submittable provides solutions to key government sector problems.
- Collaboration with AEs: Support Enterprise AEs in nurturing longer-lead prospects and executing strategies for leads not yet in the pipeline.
- Expert Support: Provide prompt and accurate responses to prospects' questions while showcasing deep industry and product expertise.
- Platform Expertise: Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Submittable’s platform, including its features, functionality, and value within the government sector.
Skills & Experience We Hope You Bring:
- 6+ months of sales development experience, focusing on cold outreach (calls, emails, social selling).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse target personas.
- Comfortable multitasking, managing processes, and tracking sales activities using CRM tools like SalesForce.
- Proven ability to connect with prospects, generate interest, and move leads through the sales pipeline.
- Self-driven with a passion for achieving goals, experimenting with new strategies and constantly striving for success.
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment, able to pivot as needed to meet evolving needs.
- A team-oriented mindset and excitement to contribute to the success of a high-growth company.
Salary Details: The annual OTE (On Target Earnings) for this position is $80,000.00 with a pay mix of 85/15 (base/commission). Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; candidates may have a different range in other locations.
Position Location: This a hybrid or onsite position located in Missoula, MT.
